For our unique business needs, Susan designed a customized methodology for managing projects. We named it The Magnificent Seven, because it identified seven key project requirements. Following this methodology allows our team to focus on the most important project deliverables.” She also worked with teams throughout our organization
to create a scope checklist that has proved invaluable in helping our global project management team gather complete requirements. This permits us
to start our projects out on the right foot and with a much better chance of success.” — Bill LaPorte, Operations Director |
VIR is a leading developer of web-based shopping
reward programs, and we were preparing for explosive customer subscription growth. We had already begun experiencing spikes in new customer setup requests and site development work. In response, we grew our staff and expanded shifts on our offshore development team, which added complexity to
team communications. We engaged Cindy to analyze our processes and work with our team to propose and help implement practices
that ensured work requests were managed efficiently. She helped us implement a tool and new procedures that allow us to track all work
requests, and manage the requests through the development life cycle, ensuring total visibility and influence by all stakeholders. She also
helped us define a production change control process with specified change control windows and a system for documenting, approving and controlling change events.” — Ian Cohen, President |
“I brought Cindy in to coach my teams through adopting a new process for identifying failure modes in our Oracle ERP project. With Cindy’s guidance, these groups gained a common understanding of the process, teams were able to collaborate and share solution information, and the Oracle implementation is now stabilized.”I also asked Cindy to work with a group that realized it was not operating efficiently, and was using temporary workers to keep up with the workload. Cindy facilitated some process analysis meetings with this team and taught them how to break their work down into discrete steps so they could visualize how everything works together. This enable them to recognize where the problems and improvement opportunities were. In addition to helping us identify our problem spots, my team came away with some new problem solving skills.”

We engaged Susan to lead a very complicated global project. The project complexity was due to the global nature of the project: different geographical locations, very different time zones (Europe, United States, and Latin America), cultural gaps and language
barriers resulting in confusion or even sometime misunderstanding. Another level of complexity was due to technical features of the project,
implementing SAP Supplier Relationship Management for dozens of sites around
the world and hundreds of suppliers.Communication was the key to align all the technical components of this enormous puzzle (network, interfaces, software, data,
etc.) with the business requirements and the changing business priorities and timelines. Susan is an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, and we really appreciated the note of humour which is essential when people are working long hours under severe conditions.Susan has outstanding management skills and succeeded
in maintaining everyone’s focus to work as “one project, one team” with veryhigh level of motivation to reach a common objectives, even though the team was made up of people working for different companies with different time and financial constraints. — Jean-Marc Petit, Givaudan Suisse, SA |
